An Invitation to Car Clubs.

The Committee of the B.V.A.C extends an invitation to your Club to participate as a group to display your vehicles at the 38th Historic Vehicle Extravaganza for the benefit of the visiting public and for you to have a social outing for your members.

Entry will be FREE and will be accepted on the understanding that all the vehicles will be presented in a clean, tidy and roadworthy condition unless you will be making a feature of a vehicle undergoing restoration or that the exhibit is intended to be shown in an 'as found' condition.
All vehicles entered must have third party liability insurance and comply with current Road Traffic Regulations.
The Club reserves the right to deny entry to any vehicle which, in its opinion, is presented in an unacceptable condition.

If you intend to enter over 25 cars, please get in touch as soon as possible.

The B.V.A.C. Committee also invites your Club to compete for the:-
BEST VISITING CAR CLUB DISPLAY TROPHY.   

Please note that individuals from your Club will be eligible to enter the 'Best Combination of Vehicle and Appropriately Dressed Driver & Passenger(s) Competition' subject to the vehicle being manufactured prior to 31st December 1984.
No prior notification is necessary and changing facilities will be available.

SATURDAY 5th JUNE - A SCENIC RUN

A scenic run will be held starting and finishing at Thirlestane Castle.
The run will start at 11-00am and will cover a distance of approximately 70 to 80 miles.
Due to the Run's ever increasing popularity, we are having to limit the entries to 80 on a first come, first served basis.

Should any of your members wish to participate in the Scenic Run please advise Colin Beatson direct.

SUNDAY 6th JUNE - HISTORIC MOTORING EXTRAVAGANZA

The grounds of Thirlestane will be open from 8-30am.   All participants will be expected to be in position before 10-00am.
The show will be open to the public from 11-00am to 5-00pm and between these times no vehicle movements will be permitted without specific authorization of the prganisers.

PARADES   Please note that various classes of vehicles will be invited at times to parade in the Display Arena.
These will be announced over the Public Address System.

Trailers will be allowed into the grounds for the purpose of unloading but must then be removed to the trailer park by 10-30am.   The same will apply for loading after 5-00pm.

Should any of your members wish to enter our concours for pre-1984 cars they would be made most welcome, but we must stress that a vehicle can only be entered in one category. i.e. either in your Club Display or as an individual in the Open Concours.
