Once again we are pleased to announce that our annual Historic Motoring Extravaganza will be held in the grounds of the magnificent Thirlestane Castle, by Lauder, over the weekend of the 5th and 6th June. Over 800 cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles are expected in the "Open" concours classes together with some 500 vehicles gathered at over forty "Club" stands. We again welcome the Sporting Bears Motor Club who will be putting on Dream Rides in a range of classic and modern sportscars. >> more. . . Thirlestane Castle stands at Lauder on the A68 trunk road just 28 miles South of Edinburgh and 68 miles North of Newcastle.
On the 6th June, Thirlestane Castle will be open to all attending the show at special
reduced charges.
 VISITORS: Aim to arrive on the Sunday at around 11-00am. Buy a
Souvenir Programme and wander round the exhibits. Alternatively, stroll through the grounds, visit the
Craft Fair and for a concessionary entry fee, take a tour of the Castle, one of the oldest and finest castles in Scotland.
Special Displays and other attractions on the day will be announced over the Public Address System. EXHIBITORS: First time entrants - 'Click' the ENTRANT button for further details and to gain access to either a 'Print Friendly' Entry Form or, available for the third year running, an 'Online' Entry Form. ONLINE ENTRY FORM Entering our event couldn't be easier! Classes exist for all types of Veteran, Vintage, Post-Vintage & Classic Vehicles up to 1984. Also, a special class exists for 'Interesting Vehicles' manufactured up to the present day. So why not give it a try? Previous entrants over the last three years will automatically receive an Entry Form either by email or through the post in February 2010. CAR CLUB SECRETARIES: An invitation awaits your club to participate in the 2010 Extravaganza at Thirlestane Castle.
